Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The music she grew up with was classical, old boleros as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of drama. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. In 2000, she relocated back to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing the traditional Latin American Music. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to have the opportunity to bring to others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations preserve the traditions.
